Angelia Sciulli is a freelance cinematographer based in Los Angeles, California.  She has lensed numerous short narrative films including, DEEP DISH DIMPLES, CHERRY LEMONADE, and WATERMELON, just to name a few. Her work has screened at Tribeca Festival, Slamdance, and SXSW. Angelia is also an active member of the International Collective of Female+ Cinematographers (ICF+C). She loves visual storytelling, especially working in narrative, but she also enjoys documentary, music videos, and artistic-experimental films. Angelia has been recognized by the ASC Vision Mentorship Program and is a Project Involve Fellow through Film Independent. Angelia is in the International Cinematographers Guild (ICG 600) as a camera operator (IATSE). She has been fortunate to work on incredible projects such as Netflix’s BRAND NEW CHERRY FLAVOR under the wonderful DP, Celiana Cárdenas, AMC, and the indie features ALL THAT WE LOVE and WHAT LIES WEST. She is an Associate member of the Society of Camera Operators (SOC) and is on the SOC’s Inclusion Committee.  Angelia is currently developing a documentary on student loan debt, MONEY TALKS: THE PRICE OF AN EDUCATION. A graduate of the American Film Institute (AFI), Angelia earned her MFA in cinematography and is knowledgable in both film (8mm/16mm/35mm) and digital formats.  She is open to both union and non-union projects, and is willing to travel.  Angelia invests her time in collaborating with an array of talented filmmakers and working together to create visually, emotional worlds with her unique, artistic vision.
